l 12 Maggio a Kampala è stata una grande giornata, la gente è scesa in piazza per protestare contro il carovita, l'aumento dei generi alimentari e del carburante.
Mai vista così tanta gente, una partecipazione inattesa che ha destabilizzato il potere dittatoriale di Musenevi, che ha cercato di sminuire l'evento e dichiarando che le fotografie sono false, tutte ritoccate col photoshop.
Ai giornalisti sono state ritirate le macchine fotografiche, inibito youtube, la bbc e altre vie di comunicazione, ma questo non è servito a fermare l'onda di lotta pacifica e di gioia nel vedere il ritorno del loro leader Besigye, tornato dopo essere stato in Kenya a frasi curare per le ferite riportate durante l'ultimo arresto.
L'esercito ha colpito a bastonate, ha ammazzato e questo nessuno lo voleva, la popolazione ha dimostrato in modo pacifico, cantando e camminando con le loro motociclette e a piedi da Entebbe a Kampala. Pare che uno sparuto gruppo abbia tirato sassi ad un auto, cosa rimproverata da tutti i dimostranti, però questa azione ha avuto come conseguenza dei feriti e dei morti. L'Uganda si è tinta di rosso sangue anche in questo giorno di ferma e viva protesta.
Le immagini riportate , ovviamete non sono le mie, ma testimoniano ciò che è accaduto in una Uganda che è sveglia e speranzosa che la democrazia diventi realtà!
